With what / where I can wear this dress? (In Description)?

It is a brown tweed shift dress with 3 / 4 sleeves. Fists and neck are mink. Very cute. Vintage. I'm in college, so there is a "tour of the campus dress. I was thinking about wearing it with heels brown kitten that I have and maybe buy a vintage brooch in orange or green or purple. Any idea what they should, as a whole? Where and when?
