What’s a promise ring?

What’s up with all the rings in the west? Promise ring, engagement ring, another ring for the wedding. Where I come from there’s only one ring – for the wedding. And it’s usually basic golden bands. In the west everything has to have diamonds.

What I’m saying is, marrige, chrismas, and easter were commercialized and raped in the ars. I can afford all those rings. But I will woman actually say no if she doesn’t like the ring. No wonder half of all marries fail.

hehe…i undy you…while growing up i thought there was only 1 wedding ring..but having dating and boyfriends…now i see that “promise ring” is a first serious step, knowing you are in serious relationship and that guy loves you and wants to stay with you….and then later when he is ready to marry you, then he will ask you “will you marry me”? with engagement ring and then for one year planning a wedding or something it showing that you are TAKEN, u’re not available, until at the church wedding u will have a “wedding ring for life”. NOT ALL RINGS HAS TO BE DIAMONDS!!! It can be silver or white gold or yellow gold….those girls who say they must be diamonds, they’re gold diggers bullshit women.
